The Clear Diplomat® is Remo's brightest, most open sounding head due to its single layer of 7.5-mil Mylar® film. They're known for their bright tones, resonance, and sustain and as resonant (bottom) heads opening up the sound of tom-toms.  

The Clear Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a single ply 10-mil Mylar® film to produce an open, bright, and resonant sound with plenty of attack.  

Clear Emperor® heads are made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar®, making them the brightest sounding multi-ply heads and most durable of the classic clear WeatherKing® series.  

The Coated Diplomat® is slightly warmer than the Clear Diplomat® due to a coated single layer of 7.5-mil Mylar® film. They're known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Coated Diplomat® heads are best known for accentuating snare drum response.

The Smooth White Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a single-ply 10-mil Mylar® film to produce open, warm resonant sounds with a warm attack. Smooth White Ambassador® drumheads are great for all playing situations and are an industry standard for marching bass drum applications.  

Smooth White Emperor® heads are warmer than Clear Emperor® with bigger mid range tones. Smooth White Emperor®s are quickly becoming one of REMO®'s most popular WeatherKing® heads. They're made with two free-floating plies of 7.5-mil Mylar® film, which gives consistent open warm tones which accounts for their popularity among many of today's Studio and Rock drummers.  

The Renaissance Diplomat® is slightly warmer than Clear and Suede Diplomats due to a textured surface single layer of 7.5 mil Mylar® film. They're known for their rich warm tones, resonance, and sustain.  

The Renaissance Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a textured single ply 10 mil Mylar® film to produce a warm open resonant sounds with a warm attack.  

Renaissance Emperor® heads are warmer than Clear Emperors. They're made with two free-floating textured plys of 7 mil Mylar® film, which gives consistent open warm resonant tones  

The Suede® Diplomat® heads are made with a proprietary processed single ply 7.5-mil Myar® and known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Suede® Diplomat®s produce a sound that's a cross between the brightness and resonance of clear and the midrange articulation of coated.

The Ebony® Pinstripe® heads are made with two (10- & 5-mil) Mylar® plies with a measured layer of a ring reducing agent applied between them at the outer edge of their trademark stripe to dampen high frequency overtones for warm resonance. Ebony® Pinstripe®'s quick decay makes them ideal heads for the ?fat? sounds of Rock and R&B and for those who want more low end sounds with moderate attack and response characteristics
