Typical Ball End Nylon strings were created as a convenience to players who either didn't want to take the time to tie the ends of regular Classical strings. or? didn't know how to tie them. As a general rule. string companies used standard type (not hi-grade) classical strings. and then put the ball on. At Dean Markley. like everything else we do. we decided to take it a step further. and make a really good Ball End Classical string.
