D'Addario Half Rounds are a unique hybrid of round and flat wound bass strings. Half Round bass strings are wound with pure nickel, then precision ground, leaving the outer surface smooth and "semi-flat", while retaining the flexibility and tone of round wound strings. Each wrap is precisely wound onto a hex core. They retainround wound brightness and sustain thanks to the exclusive "heat treating" process. The strings produce a warm and bright tone, provide a precise intonation and unparalleled consistency.
