Specially suited to those Rock Music players who prefer a warm sound quality. The core is quite similar to that used to make violin strings. The winding consists in a carbon alloy developed by Dogal, providing  a specific gravitiy higher than that of nickel alloy, allow the pitch to be attained with less tension.

A carbon fiber alloy is the material with which these strings are made. The principal advantage to this choice is the large sound volume. The strings also are flexible and easy to play without presenting problems of buzzing on the fingerboard. The use of carbon steel also allows for producing strings with the same sound volume but inferior diameter. Testing has shown that a 038 to 086 gauge "Carbon Steel" series set produces the same sound volume as a 040 - 100 gauge set produced with traditional materials.
