The Coated Diplomat® is slightly warmer than the Clear Diplomat® due to a coated single layer of 7.5-mil Mylar® film. They're known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Coated Diplomat® heads are best known for accentuating snare drum response.  

The Renaissance Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a textured single ply 10 mil Mylar® film to produce a warm open resonant sounds with a warm attack.  

Clear Pinstripe® heads are made with two 7-mil Mylar® plies, and have quick decay, making them ideal heads for the ?fat? sounds of Pop, Rock and R&B and for those who want a low pitched sound with moderate attack and response characteristics.  

The Ebony® Pinstripe® heads are made with two (10- & 5-mil) Mylar® plies with a measured layer of a ring reducing agent applied between them at the outer edge of their trademark stripe to dampen high frequency overtones for warm resonance. Ebony® Pinstripe®'s quick decay makes them ideal heads for the ?fat? sounds of Rock and R&B and for those who want more low end sounds with moderate attack and response characteristics
